What is a Menti?
The Menti is the personal AI companion employees receive through Mentor2AI. It knows your company's internal policies, processes and SOPs, answers questions instantly and becomes more personal over time because it knows the path each person has taken so far.
How does the Menti know what it may answer?
By default, exclusively from the knowledge your company uploads: your documents, handbooks and policies. This keeps answers bound to your own guidelines.
Where it makes sense, a hybrid mode can be activated. Your knowledge still always comes first: only if your documents contain nothing on a topic may the Menti draw on internet sources as well.
That boundary always stays visible. Such answers are explicitly labelled, along the lines of: “I found nothing on this in your company's documents; the following comes from internet sources.” And they always cite their sources.
Where is our data stored?
The platform is hosted in the EU. Every company receives its own isolated instance, and data from different organisations is never mixed. Administration is designed for GDPR-compliant use. For specific questions about data processing agreements and retention periods, please contact us directly.
How is Mentor2AI different from ChatGPT?
Public AI tools such as ChatGPT do not know your company and operate outside your data environment. Mentor2AI answers from your own policies, handbooks and SOPs, is hosted in the EU and runs in a dedicated, isolated instance in your corporate design.

How does our company knowledge get into the platform?
By upload. You upload your existing handbooks, policies, SOPs and onboarding documents and can keep your familiar folder structure. This becomes the knowledge base the Menti works with.
